Revolutionary School Dress Code Changes in UP! You Won't Believe

In Uttar Pradesh schools, students will now be required to wear full pants and shirts as per special guidelines issued by the state government to prevent communicable diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya due to changing weather conditions. Students will also be educated about prevention measures.

In cases where a higher number of students exhibit fever or other symptoms, doctors will conduct tests within the school premises, as per the government's directive to the Basic Education Department. Additionally, efforts will be made to ensure that there is no water stagnation on school campuses. Each school will appoint a nodal teacher responsible for implementing these measures, as directed to all Basic Shiksha Adhikaris (BSAs).

In recent times, several districts, including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Lucknow, Kanpur, and others, have been affected by communicable diseases like dengue and malaria.

Furthermore, the Uttar Pradesh government, with the aim of implementing the New Education Policy, has instructed the Education Department to formulate new regulations. These regulations specify reduced weekly classroom hours, with classes being held for only 29 hours a week.
